All Earthhium products are made with naturally derived ingredients — including essential oils, fragrance oils, botanical extracts, plant butters, clays, and active compounds. While we formulate our products with care and use skin-safe ingredients, individual skin reactions can and do vary from person to person.
Know Your Ingredients
Every product page on the Earthhium website lists the full ingredient list for that product. Please read this carefully before purchasing, especially if you have known allergies, skin sensitivities, or medical conditions affecting your skin.
Common ingredients across our range include: essential oils (lavender, peppermint, eucalyptus, citrus, rose, sandalwood, and others), fragrance oils, botanical powders (turmeric, charcoal, clay, oatmeal, and others), plant butters (shea, cocoa, mango), carrier oils (olive, coconut, castor, jojoba, almond), and active ingredients (kojic acid, glycolic acid, niacinamide, and others in specific products).
If you are unsure whether a product is safe for you — please do not purchase without consulting a dermatologist first.
Patch Test — Always
We strongly recommend performing a patch test before using any Earthhium product for the first time.
How to patch test
1. Apply a small amount of the product to the inside of your wrist or elbow.
2. Leave for 24 hours without washing the area.
3. Check for any redness, itching, swelling, or irritation.
4. If no reaction occurs, the product is likely suitable for your skin.
5. If any reaction occurs, do not use the product and consult a dermatologist.
Patch testing is especially important for: sensitive skin · eczema or psoriasis · known allergies to any listed ingredient · pregnant or breastfeeding women · children under 12.
Special Populations
Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women
Certain essential oils are not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Please consult your doctor or midwife before using any new skincare or fragrance product during this time.
Children
Products marked as suitable for children have been formulated with gentler ingredients. For children under 3, consult a paediatrician before use. Keep all products out of reach of young children.
Medical Skin Conditions
If you have eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, or any other diagnosed skin condition, consult a dermatologist before introducing any new skincare product — including our range.
If a Reaction Occurs
Stop using the product immediately.
Rinse the affected area thoroughly with cool water.
Do not reapply the product.
Consult a dermatologist or medical professional if the reaction is severe or persistent.
